This exhibition consisted of daily objects that anyone has seen, such as ladles and laundry tubs, the plaster cast models of them, and thin skin-like objects made by dropping molten metal little by little on the plaster models.  We most likely see laundry tubs, windows, ladles, and washbasins in our daily lives in terms of their texture, colour, gloss, but most importantly through our personal experiences.  While plaster cast models have the same shape as the original objects, they are rid of impressions from daily lives, and with their empty feel and complex shadows, recognising the shape becomes more difficult. The “metal skin” only had dry, fragile structure, and made the models’ obscure shapes even more obscure. This represented the original objects’ styles by giving them ghost-like impressions. In my opinion, the relationship between the three is the result of what we normally observe, what the air surrounding them constitutes, and observing them afresh, i.e. the result of repeating perception.  By observing the relationship between the three, I hope the viewers will be encouraged to think that there are what we normally see, don’t see, and try to see, and from there find a new discovery.
